Dr. Steve Pullon

Dr. Pullon was born in Michigan. After brief stops in Philadelphia and St. Louis, his family moved to North Palm Beach. Once he got sand between his toes, there was no going back. He fell in love with boating and fishing, and spent many days in his 11-foot boat on the Intracoastal and Lake Worth. He attended and graduated from North Shore High School in West Palm Beach, where he met and fell in love with his eventual wife, Debbie.

After graduation, Dr. Pullon headed off to Auburn University in Alabama on a partial academic scholarship. After three years, he was accepted to the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. Auburn granted him a bachelor's degree in pre-veterinary medicine, one week after he received his doctorate!

Graduation led to his first job in Boca Raton, followed by a year in Colorado. In 1996, he purchased Village Veterinary and has practiced there since. The practice has since become AAHA-certified, and moved into a new, larger facility.

Dr. Pullon holds veterinary licenses in Florida, Colorado, and Missouri. He is a member of the following professional associations: Palm Beach Veterinary Society, Treasure Coast Veterinary Medical Association, Florida Veterinary Medical Association, American Veterinary Medical Association, and American Animal Hospital Association.

Outside of the office, Dr. Pullon enjoys being involved in the community and helping others. He has been a high school youth leader at Jupiter First Church since 1997, in Kiwanis since 1996, and the Jupiter High School Key Club advisor since 2001. Dr. Pullon still enjoys fishing, and takes his two sons out regularly (Alton born 1997, and Noah born 1999). Debbie is a good sport, and comes along and baits her own hooks. They were married in 1992 after seven years of dating. Dr. Pullon's other passion is classic cars. He has owned and restored multiple American muscle cars. His pets, all homeless at some point, include a hound named Petunia, and a spunky Jack Russell named Piglet.
